Fire Inspection Information
Text/HTML
Ensuring safe buildings plays an important role in saving life and property.
The goal is to minimize the risk of life and property loss from fire by observing, making recommendations, and subsequently controlling or eliminating hazardous conditions. The inspection program can make major strides toward accomplishing this goal before a fire occurs.
The Edgerton Fire Protection District performs approximately 1,000 annual fire inspections on all commercial and residential properties of three or more living units, as mandated by the fire code. All fire inspectors are certified by the State of Wisconsin.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding fire inspections, feel free to contact the fire department.
